Job (what do you do?): Manage the annual Fair and its year-round activities

Favorite thing about the Fair: Opening Day. Everyone is excited to be here. Watching the children is fun; especially at the animal exhibits.

The Best part of my job: Meeting new people. There are many dedicated volunteers who work with the staff throughout the year to provide the community with a fun and educational Fair. The people who participate in our contests and exhibits make the Fair interesting and different each year. Through our year-round events I meet people from other non-profit and service organizations, social clubs and businesses.

Favorite Fair Memory: The first time I rode the Big Wheel at night.

How many Fairs do you have under your belt: 2

Job (what do you do?): Just like Bill, I would say that I wear many different hats. For year-round activities I coordinate events and direct Gun Shows. For the Fair I coordinate the Commercial and Competitive Exhibits. I also manage the website and online social media.

Favorite thing about the Fair: Seeing everyone come out on Opening Day to enjoy the Fair.

The Best part of my job: Working with other businesses in the community to put on the best Fair possible.

Favorite Fair Memory: My favorite memory is from my first Fair. I rode the Big Wheel on Friend of the Fair night and was able to look down on the Midway and the entire Fairgrounds. That's when it hit me what we accomplished with all our hard work.
